MOSART II: Misconception Oriented Standards-based Assessment Resources for Teachers
Description
MOSART II provides assessment support to NSF-funded MSPs. Our on-line assessment system is now operational in K-12 earth science, K-12 astronomy, K-8 life science, K-8 physical sciences and high school chemistry and physics. Our tests for teachers include measures of subject-matter knowledge (SMK) and pedagogical content knowledge (PCK). This poster features results from modern psychometric analysis (item response theory). We continue to support our pencil-and-paper assessments for MSPs who need to administer them to teachers and for teachers wishing to administer our tests to their students.
